Our mission and vision successfully launched Garden of Life and have remained steadfast through tremendous growth, setting a tone of

Along our journey, we've grown to encompass four company divisions, all united by these guiding principles. Today, Garden of Life's
company divisions include:

- Original Medicine—a line of nutritional supplements sold exclusively by licensed physicians.
- Garden of Life Communications—dedicated to the promotion of healthier living via the development and dissemination of a variety of

- Beyond Organic Ingredients—supplier, formulator and consultant of innovative, organically-grown raw materials sold to the consumer
package goods, restaurant and nutraceutical industries.
Through the success of these divisions, we are quickly becoming not only known as a leading provider of whole food nutritional
supplements, but also as an innovative company leading the fight for better health.
Jordan Rubin, N.M.D., Ph.D., founded Garden of Life, Inc. in 2000 after battling a debilitating digestive disease—one that nearly ended his life. When both conventional
and alternative medicines failed and left him wheelchair-bound at death's door, Jordan took matters into his own hands. Today, Jordan credits his survival and vibrant
health to an enduring faith in God and a revolutionary health program he calls The Maker's Diet™.
Scientific Contributions
Jordan Rubin formulated Garden of Life's proprietary line of more than 30 nutritional formulas to promote overall good health. He also co-developed a proprietary
probiotic fermentation process known as Poten-Zyme™, the cornerstone of Garden of Life's formulations.
